FAQS

What is Epoxy Flooring

Epoxy flooring is a durable concrete coating system applied over properly prepared concrete to create a cleaner, stronger, and better-looking surface.

How long do epoxy floors last?

With proper installation and maintenance, epoxy floors can last 10-20+ years while maintaining their durability and appearance. Our professional-grade systems are designed to handle daily wear, impacts, and heavy use far better than DIY coatings.

Are Epoxy floors durable?

Yes. Epoxy floors are extremely durable and designed to withstand heavy traffic, impacts, chemicals, and daily wear. Professional-grade epoxy systems are commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces because of their long-lasting performance and easy maintenance.

What types of spaces do you work on?

Epoxy604 works on garages, basements, workshops, showrooms, and many commercial nd industrial spaces. The right systems depends on the space, how it is used, and the condition of the concrete.

Are Epoxy floors slippery?

Epoxy floors can be slippery when wet, especially if the finish is very smooth. For spaces that need more traction, slip-resistant texture can be added.

Can Epoxy floors be made more slip-resistant?

Yes. Slip-resistant additives and texture can be built into the finish depending on the type of space and the level of traction needed.

How long does installation take?

Most of our projects are completed within 1 to 2 days. Installation time depends on the size of the space, the condition of the concrete, and the system being installed. Most projects are straightforward, but others require more prep or repair before coating begins.

What prep is included?

Preparation is the most important part of a long-lasting epoxy floor, and we never cut corners. We mechanically diamond grind the entire surface to properly open the concreate pores for maximum adhesion and long-term performance.

We also complete crack filling and minor surface repairs before coating application. Proper prep is what seperates a professional-grade system from coatings that peel or fail early.
